As the main problem of the durability deterioration of concrete structures, the corrosion of steel bars is usually made by the method of electrified corrosion with a short cycle and low cost. However, there is a big difference between the actual corrosion depth and the theoretical corrosion depth after the reinforcement is electrified. In this paper, through the accelerated corrosion test of steel bars, the change law and influence factors of corrosion efficiency of steel bars in concrete simulated pore solution and NaCl solution are studied.

Adipogenesis is a complex process controlled by intrinsic and extrinsic factors that regulate preadipocyte proliferation, adipogenic capacity and maturation of metabolic function. Here we show that insulin and IGF-1 receptors are essential for mature adipocyte survival and that deletion of both IR and IGF1R specifically in fat using a tamoxifen inducible-AdipoQ-Cre (Ai-DKO) leads to rapid and severe loss of adipocytes in all depots, associated with a metabolic syndrome characterized by hypertriglyceridemia, hyperglycemia, hyperinsulinemia, fatty liver, and pancreatic beta cell proliferation. In this model, this pathological phenotype reverses over a few weeks, in large part, due to preadipocyte proliferation and adipose tissue regeneration.

Taking potassium hexatitanate whisker (PTW) modified by silane coupling agent KH550, aluminium nitrate inorganic salt and tetraethyl orthosilicate and deionized water, respectively, as infrared sunscreen, aluminium source and raw materials forming the network structure of a composite xerogel, a series of structurally intact PTW-doped AlO-SiO composite xerogel thermal-insulating materials were prepared by the sol-gel method and dried under atmospheric pressure. The infrared spectral characteristics, infrared radiation transmittance, microstructures, morphology and thermal conductivity of different composite materials prepared have been determined by a Fourier transform infrared spectrometer, UV-visible-near-infrared spectrophotometer, X-ray diffractometer, scanning electron microscope and thermal conductivity tester. The results exhibit that when the Al to Si molar ratio is 1 : 9, the composite material with 5 wt% modified PTW shows the best infrared radiation blocking performance and the lowest thermal conductivity (0.
