Primary inferior vena cava(IVC) leiomyosarcoma (LMS) is an extremely rare retroperitoneal mesenchymal tumour with < 500 cases reported in literature so far. Patients always present with nonspecific complaints, hence delaying the actual diagnosis, and they are associated with poor oncological outcomes. Differentiating primary leiomyosarcoma from other pathologies affecting IVC-like bland thrombus, retroperitoneal liposarcomas and other tumours infiltrating IVC secondarily may be difficult at times.

The commonly available combination options include high-dose sulbactam, polymyxins, tetracyclines, and cefiderocol. Scanty prospective data exist to support this approach.

The awareness of anatomical variations of hepatic arteries and celiac trunk is very important in interventional radiology, liver transplant and intra-abdominal oncologic surgeries. Radiology plays an important role in the identification of these variants non-invasively. Digital subtraction angiography was the gold standard for their identification.

Experience with diagnosing them is limited and differentiating urachal adenocarcinoma from other urachal pathologies like infected urachal cysts may be difficult at times. Differentials of urachal anomalies can be narrowed down by proper assessment of patient demographics, clinical details, lesion morphology, and imaging findings.

This study aims to use pigeonpea and maize stalks to produce biochar at different pyrolysis temperatures. Biochar can serve in carbon sequestration, as a soil amendment, and as an alternative fuel source.

The study was aimed to evaluate the platelet derived growth factor-BB (PDGF-BB) levels in cases of isolated gingival recession using gingival pedicle split thickness tunnel technique (GPST) and de-epithelialized gingival graft (DGG) with or without coating it with i-PRF.
Methodology: 20 patients exhibiting Miller's class I/II isolated gingival recession were selected for this parallel arm randomized controlled trial.
Cancer has become a major public health issue leading to one of the foremost causes of morbidity and death in the world. Despite the current advances in diagnosis using modern technologies and treatment via surgery or chemo- and radio-therapies, severe side effects or after-effects limit the application of these treatment modalities. Novel drug delivery systems have shown the potential to deliver chemotherapeutics directly to cancer cells, thus minimizing unnecessary exposure to healthy cells.

The battle against TC is hampered by the lack of effective diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. The effectiveness of surgical procedures, such as thyroidectomy and nutraceutical treatments, are accompanied by several difficulties and still require further research.

This randomized controlled clinical study included a total of 30 patients with a minimal amount of peri-implant KM (≤ 1 mm) in the maxillary and mandibular anterior regions (including the premolars). The study population was divided into two groups using a randomization protocol; group A (n = 15) received a combination of FGG strip and XCM, and group B (n = 15) received FGG only to augment the KM.

Methodology: A retrospective observational study was conducted in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at LHMC and SSK Hospital, Delhi.
Introduction: Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) ankylosis is a pathologic condition where the mandible is fused to the fossa by bony or fibrotic tissues. Haemorrhage is one of the major complications during TMJ surgery especially in ankyloses due to altered anatomy. The aim of the study was to analyse the proximity of the vasculature to the TMJ region in TMJ ankylosis patients using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

Platelet concentrates have seen significant advancement in the field of biological surgical wound additives. The focus is now on second-generation platelet concentrates, which are completely autologous with no external additives. Unlike other platelet concentrates, liquid or injectable platelet-rich fibrin (i-PRF) is the only one that is obtained in a liquid form.

Method And Materials: Twenty-four patients of either sex, presented with moderate to severe malodor, detected by a portable breath checker (Tanita®) were considered for the study and assigned to group A & B. Scaling and root planning was performed in both the groups, followed by photodynamic therapy on the tongue surface in group A.
Acute bronchitis is a lower respiratory tract lung infection that causes bronchial inflammation. The known protein drug targets are peptidoglycan D, D-transpeptidase, and DNA topoisomerase 4 subunit A for bronchitis linked infections. These are the membrane associated macromolecules which takes a major role in the formation of cell wall membrane by synthesising the cross-linked peptidoglycan.

It is mostly cultivated as a subsistence crop in the marginal areas of plains and hills. Considering the changes in climate inclusive of recurrent weather vagaries witnessed every year, it is crucial to select stable, high-yielding, area-specific, finger millet cultivars.

Coronally advanced flap modifications, namely Zucchelli's technique (ZT) and vestibular incision subperiosteal tunnel access (VISTA), are techniques, recommended in the correction of MGR.
Aim: The purpose was to comparatively analyze the ZT and VISTA technique reinforced with the platelet-rich fibrin membrane in the management of MGR.
Introduction: Breast cancer (BC) is the most common cancer among Indian women and invasive duct cell carcinoma (IDCC) the most common histology (80-90%) followed by noninvasive duct cell carcinoma (non-IDCC) subtypes (about 10%). Most of the non-IDCC are rare (<1-2%), and literature on this topic is sparse. Age is an important prognostic factor and varies with ethnicity.

Aim: This study aimed to evaluate the association of medication adherence with different aspects of religiosity and spirituality in patients with schizophrenia.
Materials And Methods: One hundred patients with schizophrenia were evaluated on religiousness measure scale and Duke Religion Index (DUREL); Brief Religious Coping Scale (Brief RCOPE); World Health Organization Quality of Life Spirituality, Religiosity, and Personal Beliefs (WHOQoL-SRPB); and Brief Adherence Rating Scale (BARS).
Paratesticular rhabdomyosarcoma is a very rare mesenchymal tumor. It is an intrascrotal tumor that is localized in paratesticular structures such as the epididymis or spermatic cord. Rhabdomyosarcoma is most often observed in children and adolescents, presenting as a painless scrotal mass.

Here we report a 60 year aged male presented with complaints of right neck swelling of 3 months duration, swelling was initially small in size and gradually increasing. On examination right level II, hard mobile lymph node was palpable measuring 4 × 4 cm in size, oral cavity and oropharynx was normal. Computed tomography of face neck showed moderately enhancing soft tissue mass of 2 × 3 cm in the supra glottis and left level II cervical lymphadenopathy of size 5 × 5 cm with infiltrating into left sternomastoid muscle.

To combat the post-extraction alveolar loss, alveolar ridge preservation is practiced, with the advent of the biomaterial available. The purpose of this study was to assess the efficiency of calcium phosphosilicate biomaterial in alveolar ridge preservation.
