Diabetes mellitus (DM) induced mitochondrial oxidative stress (OS) can lead to severe injury of dental pulp. The cerium oxide nanoparticles (CNP) have been proven to have excellent antioxidative activity. However, whether CNP can relieve dental pulp damage caused by DM and the underlying mechanisms remain unclear.

However, the lack of guiding principles for promoting cation disorder within the transition metal (TM) layers has posed a persistent challenge in designing homogeneous layered LR cathodes. Herein, the (Li + Mn) content in the TM layer as a criterion for the design of cation-disordered layered LR cathodes is proposed.

The anxiety caused by morphine protracted abstinence is considered to be an important factor contributes to drug-seeking and relapse. Endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress plays important roles in many kinds of mental disorders including drug addiction and anxiety, but it is unclear whether ER stress is involved in anxiety-like behaviors induced by morphine withdrawal. In this study, by using behavioral test, western blot, immunofluorescence, electron transmission microscope, we found that: (1) Inhibition of endoplasmic reticulum stress by 4-Phenylbutyric acid (4-PBA) could attenuate anxiety-like behaviors induced by morphine withdrawal.

However, the underlying mechanism is not fully understood.
Methods: An IP‒LC‒MS/MS assay was conducted to identify new binding partners of G6PD involved in the regulation of VSMC phenotypic switching under platelet-derived growth factor-BB (PDGF-BB) stimulation.
FBXO31, a member of F-box family to comprise of SCF complex, contributes to a pivotal role in cancer progression. However, the possible involvements of FBXO31 in PC are unelucidated. Here, we reported that FBXO31 was overexpressed in PC patients, which was negatively associated with survival in PC patients.

In this study, we found that NEDD4 could facilitate the proliferation of HCC cells, which was associated with regulating the ERK signaling. Further investigation showed that protocadherin 17 (PCDH17) was a potential substrate of NEDD4, and restoration of PCDH17 could block the facilitation of ERK signaling and HCC cells proliferation induced by NEDD4 overexpression.

We have deciphered a novel mechanism with which CSFV uses to evade the host antiviral immunity by the N-terminal domain of its N to facilitate proteasomal degradation of Sp1 with subsequent reduction of HDAC1 and ISG15 expression. This is distinct from earlier findings involving N-mediated IRF3 degradation via the C-terminal domain.

After LSP, the microhardness of the cladding zone reached approximately 800 HV, which was 25% higher than that of the substrate, while the cladding zone without LSP had an approximately 18% increase in its microhardness. Two strengthening processes were designed: groove LSP + LC + surface LSP versus LC + surface LSP.

In order to increase our knowledge of nuclear DNA amounts and variation patterns in bryophytes, and their potential phylogenetic significances and influences on phenotypes, we used flow cytometry to determine the DNA 1C values of 209 bryophyte accessions, which belong to 145 mosses and 18 liverworts collected from China, by using as a standard. We quantified the differences in DNA 1C values among different orders and families and constructed a phylogenetic tree of 112 mosses with four gene sequences (5, L, L-F, and 18S-ITS1-5.

Objective To investigate the effect of calcium voltage gated channel subunit α 1C antisense RNA2 (CACNA1C-AS2) on malignant biological characteristics of esophageal cancer cells by regulating epithelial mesenchymal transition (EMT). Methods CACNA1C-AS2 expression levels in paracancerous tissues and esophageal cancer tissues were analyzed by TCGA database. Real-time quantitative PCR was used to detect the expression of CACNA1C-AS2 mRNA in esophageal cancer cells.

Although the orexinergic system has been reported to be important in mediating emotion processing and addiction, the role of orexinergic system in anxiety from drug protracted abstinence remains elusive. In this study, by using behavioral test, western blot, electrophysiology and virus-mediated regulation of orexin receptor 1 (OX1R), we found that: (1) Intraperitoneal and intra-VTA administration of a selective OX1R antagonist SB334867 alleviated anxiety-like behaviors in open field test (OFT) but not in elevated plus maze test (EPM) in morphine protracted abstinent male mice.

Microwave radiometers can be used in human tissue temperature measurement scenarios due to the advantages of non-destructive and non-contact temperature measurement. However, their accuracy often cannot meet the needs of practical applications. In this paper, a Ku-Band high-precision blackbody calibration target is designed to provide calibration for microwave radiometers and meet the requirements of a high temperature-measurement accuracy and high temperature-measurement resolution.

In the current study, we discovered that an antisense lncRNA, CACNA1C-AS2, suppressed growth, migration and invasion of glioma cells, suggesting that CACNA1C-AS2 functions as a tumor suppressor. Furthermore, we found that CACNA1C-AS2 negatively regulated Fbxo45 protein expression in glioma cells.
