An analysis and evaluation has been carried out on each test parameter contained in the compliance test of 1016 stationary and 480 mobile radiography devices compiled by the Indonesian Nuclear Energy Regulatory Agency (Badan Pengawas Tenaga Nuklir, BAPETEN) from 2019 to 2020. The data were categorised and analysed based on the devices' age to observe the correlation of performance with the age of the X-ray machine. Caries Experience among Children with History of Neonatal Stunting.

Objective:  Children with neonatal growth retardation (defined as birth length <48cm) are at risk for chronic malnutrition that begins before birth and continues into infancy. Stunting can adversely affect a child's growth and development, including oral health itself, and especially the experience of dental caries. This study analyzed the dental caries experience in children with neonatal growth retardation.

The potential diagnostic value of Rac1 immunohistochemistry in follicular thyroid carcinoma.

Introduction: Rac1 and Galectin-3 has been suggested to involve in the invasion and aggressive behaviour of several cancers. The aim of this study is to evaluate the immunoreactivity of Rac1 and Galectin-3 in follicular adenoma (FA) and follicular thyroid carcinoma (FC) in an attempt to investigate its association with the invasion of FC and its immunohistochemical diagnostic value to discriminate FA and FC.

Materials And Methods: This study included 120 selected paraffin embedded tissue blocks from surgically resected follicular thyroid neoplasms, consists of 60 cases of FA and 60 cases of FC.

Neonatal stunting and early childhood caries: A mini-review.

The nutritional status of pregnant women greatly determines their newborn outcome. Deficiencies of several micronutrients are associated with stunting in early childhood, affecting health into adulthood. However, apart from the systemic disease that has been a concern so far, fetal undernutrition can also be associated with dental caries in a child's early life, especially since the primary teeth begin to form during the mother's gestation period.

Objective: Parental knowledge, belief, and attitude about oral health affect children's dental cleaning behavior. Further research on maternal knowledge and attitude about early-age children's oral health has been suggested to identify factors related to pediatric dental and oral health. Several derivatives of diacylphloroglucinol ( and ) as an analogue of natural product compound 2,4-diacetylphloroglucinol , were successfully synthesised in an excellent yield a greener Friedel-Craft acylation using methanesulfonic acid (MSA) as a catalyst under an ultrasound-assisted condition. Operational simplicity, excellent yield, expedient metal-free synthesis, energy-efficient and mild reaction conditions are the outstanding advantages in this procedure. A scaled-up reaction also revealed the practical suitability of this newly developed procedure.

This is the first recorded case of urinary tract villous adenoma in Indonesia. A 70-years-old man suffered from a painful left flank mass and jelly like mixed urine. He had undergone percutaneous nephrostomy yielding a jelly like substance, and a previous stone surgery.

Correlation between EGFR Expression and Radiosensitivity in Cervical Adenocarcinoma Cases.

Background: Most of the cervical cancer patients, including those with cervical adenocarcinomas, come at advanced stage in the developing world so its mortality is high. Radiotherapy is one of the treatment modality for advanced stage cervical adenocarcinomas, but its efficacy depends on several prognostic factors such as the stage, histopathology, presence of organ dysfunction and expression of cellular biology markers mainly involve in cell proliferation such as the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). Some research indicates that activation of EGFR in malignancy (including cervical cancer) correlates with aggressive behavior, a poor prognosis and decreasing sensitivity of radiotherapy.

Novel colorimetric anion sensors based on N-acetylglyoxylic amides containing nitrophenyl signalling units.

N-acetylglyoxylic amides 4 and 5 bearing pendant 4-nitrophenyl and 2,4-dinitrophenyl groups respectively were synthesized and evaluated as anion sensors. A crystal structure of 4 was obtained by X-ray crystallography. Compounds 4 and 5 behaved as colorimetric sensors for CN(-) and F(-), and exhibited naked eye-detectable color changes upon the addition of these anions.

The spirituality and religiosity of Indonesian Muslim adolescents were examined longitudinally as were the relations of spirituality and religiosity with (mal)adjustment. At Time 1 (T1), 959 seventh-grade Muslim adolescents were screened for selection of a sample; at Time 2 (T2), 183 eighth-grade adolescents participated; and at Time 3 (T3), 300 ninth-grade adolescents (164 new participants) participated. At T1, adolescents' peer likeability was assessed; at T2, adolescents' global and cognitive esteem were measured; and at T2 and T3, adolescents' (mal)adjustment, spirituality, and religiosity were assessed.
