Unlabelled: On March 2, 2020, the first (COVID-19) case was reported in Jakarta, Indonesia. One and a half months later (15/05/2020), the cumulative number of infection cases was 16,496, with a total of 1076 mortalities. This study investigates the possible role of weather in the early cases of COVID-19 in six selected cities in Indonesia.

Multi-model projections of precipitation extremes in Southeast Asia based on CORDEX-Southeast Asia simulations.

This study examines the projected precipitation extremes for the end of 21st century (2081-2100) over Southeast Asia (SEA) using the output of the Southeast Asia Regional Climate Downscaling/Coordinated Regional Climate Downscaling Experiment - Southeast Asia (SEACLID/CORDEX-SEA). Eight ensemble members, representing a subset of archived CORDEX-SEA simulations at 25 km spatial resolution, were examined for emission scenarios of RCP4.5 and RCP8.

Nodal Follicular Lymphomas: A Clinicopathological Study from a Tertiary Care Centre in South India.

The aim of this study was to assess the distribution of nodal follicular lymphomas (FL) among various subtypes of non- Hodgkin lymphoma and to study their clinico-pathological features. Clinical details, histomorphology including grading & patterns and immunoprofile of 44 cases were studied. Majority of the cases were grade 1 (61 %) FL.

Kikuchi-fujimoto disease: a study of 24 cases.

Kikuchi-Fujimoto disease (KFD) is a rare benign disorder predominantly affecting young adults and has a site predilection for cervical lymph nodes. The objective of this study is to analyze the clinicopathological features of KFD. A retrospective study of 24 cases of KFD presenting at a tertiary care hospital in southern India over a 4 year period is presented here.

Towards mutual trust, transparency and equity in virus sharing mechanism: the avian influenza case of Indonesia.

Introduction: As the country hardest hit by avian influenza, both in poultry and in human, Indonesia's decision to withhold samples of avian influenza virus A (H5N1) has fired up a global controversy. The objective of this paper is to describe the position taken by Indonesia in the events leading to the decision and in those conducted to resolve the situation.

Methods: The sources for this paper are the Indonesian human influenza A(H5N1) case reports and study results, summaries, minutes and reports of national and international meetings of virus sharing, and other related Indonesian and WHO documents.

Desirable intakes of polyunsaturated fatty acids in Indonesian adults.

A Indonesian Advisory Group on Fatty Acid Nutrition and Health was established in 2004 to consider the increasing incidence of nutritionally-related cardiovascular disease in Indonesia. Emerging international recommendations, often focused on dietary fat and may not have been relevant to the national situation. Traditional dietary patterns were apparently protective against ischaemic heart disease often with fat derived dominantly from a particular source like coconut, soy, peanut or fish.

Fish oil treatment decreases superoxide anions in the myocardium and coronary arteries of atherosclerotic monkeys.

Background: This experiment sought to determine the effects of fish oil on superoxide anion production in the myocardium and coronary arteries of atherosclerotic monkeys. Recent evidence indicates that dietary supplementation with fish oil preserves normal vasomotion of atherosclerotic coronary arteries and reduces damage to the myocardium after ischemia and reperfusion, although the mechanisms remain unclear.

A study of baseline risk factors for coronary heart disease: results of population screening in a developing country.
