Background: Breastfeeding is the most advantageous nutrition for infants because of its many health benefits. However, lactation insufficiency is a prevalent issue among women, particularly those who give birth prematurely. Galactagogues, such as domperidone and metoclopramide, have been reported and may be beneficial for lactation insufficiency.

Although it is originated from the Diannan miniature pig (DN), substantial genetic changes have actually occurred. However, the lack of a BN reference genome has limited studies on the complete genomic architecture and utilization as a biomedical model.

To pave the way for insights into their adaptive evolution and speciation, we have assembled the first high quality reference genome for F. ruficapilla using high-fidelity (HiFi) long-read and Hi-C sequencing technologies.

Background: Assisted reproductive technologies (ARTs) have become the main treatment for infertility. ART treatment can be a stressful life event for infertile females. Whether there is an association between ARTs and postpartum depressive symptoms (PDS) has not been established.

While previous research has demonstrated the impact of insomnia on cognitive function, its effects on creativity in Chinese adolescents remain unclear. This study explored the relationship between insomnia (specifically, daytime and nighttime disturbances) and creativity in adolescents.

This study aimed (1) To identify patterns of multimorbidity among patients undergoing first recorded percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI); (2) To explore the association between the identified patterns of multimorbidity on length of hospital stay, 30-day and 12- month risk of major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events (MACCE) after PCI.
Methods: A retrospective cohort study of the Melbourne Interventional Group (MIG) registry.
An empirical study is carried out based on to explore whether the game has raised awareness of public health and urged players to make a better choice about health. Twenty-six college students from 24 cities in 11 provinces of China were investigated for a week-long survey. According to grounded theory principles, we coded original records from 69 diary reports using qualitative analysis tools.

In a combined sample of 1,682 Chinese participants, by integrating GWAS with previously identified brain-specific gene co-expression network modules, this study explored for the first time the functional brain-specific gene co-expression networks underlying DT. The results showed that gene co-expression network modules in anterior cingulate cortex, caudate, amygdala and substantia nigra were enriched with DT association signals.

Avian iris colors exhibit striking interspecific and intraspecific variations that correspond to unique evolutionary and ecological histories. Here, we identified the genetic basis of pearl (white) iris color in domestic pigeons (Columba livia) to explore the largely unknown genetic mechanism underlying the evolution of avian iris coloration.

Here, we report a quaternary B/P-codoped transition metal Co-Mo hybrid as an efficient alternative catalyst for overall water splitting. The Co-Mo-B-P/CF dual nanowafers were deposited on a copper foam by double-pulse electrodeposition, which is favorable for achieving a nanocrystalline structure.

The study aims at identifying the potential crucial genes and pathways associated with foetal metabolism and malformation of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). Gene Expression Series 49524 and 87295 were downloaded from Gene Expression Omnibus database, including eight from GDM and eight from non-GDM.

Smartphone technology may provide an innovative platform to close these gaps.
Objectives: The primary goal of this study was to assess whether a smartphone-based, early cardiac rehabilitation program improved exercise capacity in patients with ACS.
Background: We evaluated the clinical applications of the reconstruction of postoperative defects of the oral cavity using contralateral submental artery flaps.
Methods: A retrospective study of 18 patients with postoperative intraoral cancer defects reconstructed with contralateral submental artery perforator flaps between October 2018 and October 2019 in our department was conducted. The defect area, flap size, and complications were evaluated.
For further understanding the joint contribution of environment, heredity and gender to creativity, the present research examined the prospective impact of paternal indifference & neglect in early life, TPH1 rs623580, offspring gender, and the interaction effects thereof on creativity in five hundred and thirty-nine unrelated healthy Chinese undergraduate students. Paternal indifference & neglect in early life was assessed on the Parental Bonding Instrument (PBI) and creativity on the Runco Creativity Assessment Battery (rCAB). Two primary findings emerged.

Occupational noise-induced hearing loss (ONIHL) is one of the most common yet preventable occupational diseases. The aim of this study was to estimate the economic burden of ONIHL in the Australian working population by quantifying and monetising ONIHL-related loss of Quality Adjusted Life Years (QALY) and Productivity Adjusted Life Years (PALYs). We simulated the number of moderate-to-severe ONIHL by multiplying the age-specific prevalence of occupational noise exposure by the excess risks of ONIHL.

In a sample of young adults, we first examined the interaction of each individual polymorphism and parenting style on creativity. Then, we aggregated the contribution of these susceptibility polymorphisms into a Cumulative Genetic Score (CGS) which combines the plasticity conferred by two or more single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of DRD2 and COMT into a single score.

Methods: A prospective audit of consecutive patients admitted to 24 teaching hospitals across NSW and the Australian Capital Territory in July-August 2013 with acute heart failure.
Background: This study describes the temporal changes in risk profiles and outcomes among patients with aortic stenosis (AS) undergoing surgical aortic valve replacement (SAVR) in Australia between 2002 and 2015.
Methods: Using the Australian and New Zealand Society of Cardiac and Thoracic Surgeons database, we identified first-recorded SAVR for AS over 14 years. Patients' surgical risk profiles, procedures, 30-day and 12-month outcomes were summarized before and after the introduction of transcatheter aortic valve implantation in Australia, in 2008.
