Introductions: Spinach () is a green vegetable containing 380 μg/100 g of vitamin K, while warfarin serves as an antagonist in inhibiting vitamin K epoxide reductase subunit C1 (VKORC). In this context, the co-administration of warfarin and spinach is frequently encountered among Indonesian patients, potentially leading to drug-food interactions. This study aimed to investigate the effect of concomitant administration of spinach on the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic profile of warfarin in New Zealand White rabbits.

This systematic review aimed to identify and evaluate genetic polymorphisms that are significantly associated with the pharmacokinetic parameters of methotrexate during the consolidation phase of pediatric ALL treatment. Using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews (PRISMA) guidelines, we systematically reviewed the literature from 2013 to 2023.

In clinical settings, warfarin is administered as a mixture of S-warfarin and R-warfarin, and both enantiomers are metabolized by multiple cytochrome P450 enzymes into many hydroxylation metabolites. Validation of analysis method and estimation of warfarin plasma levels are important, especially in narrow-index drugs such as warfarin.

Methods: The systematic review was conducted through PRISMA guideline, beginning with literature search within 2012-2022 in several databases (PubMed, EBSCOHost, Science Direct, Scopus, and Cochrane) followed by screening process using predetermined PICO criteria.
Objective: The aim of this study was to predict the body weight (BW) of a Belgian Blue X Friesian Holstein (BB X FH) crossbred in Indonesia based on morphometrics using random forest.
Materials And Methods: A total of 26 BB X FH crossbreds were observed for BW, chest weight (CW), body length (BL), hip height (HH), wither height (WH), and chest girth (CG) from 0, 30, 60, 90, 120, 150, 180, 210, 240, 270, and 300 days of age. Stepwise regression and random forest were performed using R 3.
Objective: Various disease complications are a risk of overweight or obesity, so losing weight can reduce the risk of diseases caused by obesity. Binahong leaf ethanol extract () is a weight-loss herbal preparation.
Aim: This study aims to analyze whether extract is effective in losing weight by affecting the mechanism of adipogenesis in an animal obesity model.
Objective: Dementia is a common aging-related neurodegenerative disease in the elderly worldwide. Alterations in neurogenesis and angiogenesis factors have been linked to cognitive impairment in neurological disorders. However, synthetic drugs to improve memory disorders have uncomfortable side effects.

To address the issue of using porcine-sourced ingredients in pharmaceuticals, it is essential to search for halal alternatives derived from poultry, animal by-products from meat processing, marine sources, and plants. However, the complexity of this problem is further compounded by the rapid advances in innovation and technology, which can lead to adulteration of ingredients derived from pigs.
