This study proposes a new high-frequency indicator to measure economic policy uncertainty in the context of India, a large emerging market economy. Based on internet search intensity data, the proposed index tends to peak around domestic and global events associated with uncertainty that may prompt economic agents to alter their decisions to spend, save, invest and hire. Using an external instrument with structural vector autoregression (SVAR-IV) framework, we provide fresh evidence on the causal impact of uncertainty on the Indian macroeconomy.

Aim: The aim of this study was to compare the anesthetic efficacy, duration of action, pain, and cardiovascular effects of dexmedetomidine when added to 2% lignocaine hydrochloride in bilateral symmetrical impacted third molars.

Materials And Methods: This study comprised of 40 healthy patients who required extraction of identical bilateral impacted lower third molars. The left side of the patients was designated as test side where patients received local anesthesia with lignocaine plus dexmedetomidine (2% lignocaine + dexmedetomidine 1 μ/ml), and the right side of the patients was designated as control side where patients received local anesthesia with lignocaine plus adrenaline (2% lignocaine in 1:80,000 adrenaline).

The gene, designated fug1, was disrupted in embryonic stem cells by the U3Neo gene trap retrovirus, and the disrupted allele was introduced into the germ line.
