Several studies show that the implementation of health promoting hospital (HPH) standard in Indonesian hospital has not reached optimal levels. Therefore, this study aimed to explore the implementation of health promoting hospital standard at a private hospital in Depok, Indonesia. This descriptive study was conducted at the end of 2023.

Anatomical relationship between maxillary posterior teeth and the maxillary sinus in an Indonesian population: a CT scan study.

Background: The anatomical proximity between the root apex of the maxillary posterior teeth and the maxillary sinus can lead to complications, including odontogenic maxillary sinusitis. While several studies have investigated similar variables in different populations, there is limited research on the Indonesian population. This study aimed to describe the anatomical position of the maxillary posterior teeth in relation to the floor of the maxillary sinus using CT scans.

Morphology of the gastric mill teeth in dotillid crabs (Crustacea: Brachyura: Dotillidae) from Indonesia.

The gastric mill is a prominent structure in the digestive system of brachyuran crabs, consisting of a median tooth plate and a pair of lateral tooth plates. Among crab species that are deposit feeders, the morphology and size of the gastric mill teeth are correlated with the preferred substrate types and food spectrum. In this study, we provide a detailed description of the morphology of the median and lateral teeth of the gastric mills in eight species of dotillid crabs from Indonesia, and compare them in relation to habitat preferences and molecular phylogeny.

Two new species of Koelbel, 1897 (Decapoda, Brachyura, Dotillidae) from Sulawesi, Indonesia.

Koelbel, 1897, is a central Indo-West Pacific genus of small intertidal, soft sediment dotillid crabs that includes five recognised species. Two new species, and , are here described from Sulawesi, Indonesia. is found on the west coast of Central Sulawesi, while occurs in the north-eastern part of Sulawesi.

This review aims to map the available evidence on biopsychosocial predictors of elderly mental health. The articles were independently screened in three selected databases, namely Pubmed, Proquest and Google Scholar. The stages consist of identifying the research questions, seeking and selecting relevant evidence, mapping data, and concluding and reporting results.

Volumetric growth analysis of maxillary sinus using computed tomography scan segmentation: a pilot study of Indonesian population.

The aim of this study is to investigate the volumetric measurements of the maxillary sinus among Indonesian population through computed tomography (CT) scan semi-automated segmentation. This project collected 802 retrospective head CT scan archives from Department of Radiology, Hasan Sadikin Hospital, Bandung, Indonesia between 2019-2020. Patients with craniofacial anomalies/pathology fracture in proximity of the maxillary sinuses, and mediocre image quality were excluded from this study resulting only 97 CT scan archives (194 maxillary sinuses; 52 males; 45 females; age range 0-25 years old).

Chikungunya in Indonesia: Epidemiology and diagnostic challenges.

Background: Chikungunya virus (CHIKV) is often overlooked as an etiology of fever in tropical and sub-tropical regions. Lack of diagnostic testing capacity in these areas combined with co-circulation of clinically similar pathogens such as dengue virus (DENV), hinders CHIKV diagnosis. To better address CHIKV in Indonesia, an improved understanding of epidemiology, clinical presentation, and diagnostic approaches is needed.

Underdiagnoses of Rickettsia in patients hospitalized with acute fever in Indonesia: observational study results.

Background: Reports of human rickettsial infection in Indonesia are limited. This study sought to characterize the epidemiology of human rickettsioses amongst patients hospitalized with fever at 8 tertiary hospitals in Indonesia.

The objective of the study is to investigate the success rate of quit attempts and identify factors associated with success or failure of quit attempts in a quit smoking clinic. A cohort study was conducted with 495 smokers who enrolled in a quit smoking clinic from 2005 to 2008.
