In India, the cricket subfamily Eneopterinae is represented by two known genera, Xenogryllus Bolívar, 1890 and Indigryllus Robillard & Jaiswara, 2019. The latter was recently described and is known from a single species I. kudremu Robillard & Jaiswara, 2019 from Karnataka, India.

Hexacentrus is a genus of predatory katydids. In India, the genus Hexacentrus is represented by 7 species of which 6 are morphologically characterized while one is only acoustically characterized. In this study, we describe three new species under the genus from India based on detailed morphological, stridulatory, and acoustic features.

The genus Arachnomimus Saussure, 1897 is one of the 13 genera of Phalangopsidae present in India. A total of 11 species belongs to this genus, of which, 9 are grouped in the subgenus Arachnomimus Saussure, 1897 with their distribution on the Indian subcontinent. One species occurs in Brazil and another in Euarachnomimus Gorochov, 1996 known from Southeast Asia.
