Introduction: Oral health related quality of life (OHRQoL), locus of control, dental health as assessed by oneself and oral health situation have all been the subject of several research, but none of them have yet been investigated in combination.
Materials And Methods: This cross-sectional study was carried out on 525 nursing students to investigate these ideas. The Oral Health Impact Profile-14 (OHIP-14) scale was employed to evaluate the standard of living associated with oral health.

Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a serious metabolic disease having a high growth rate and becoming a global threat. An unhealthy lifestyle, food intake, and genetic susceptibility are the major factors responsible for this metabolic disorder. This disease results in hyperlipidemia, hyperglycemia, glucose intolerance, restricted insulin synthesis, and insulin resistance.

In view of exploiting natural resources for designing of effectual materials in favor of detection and obliteration of water pollutants, a fluorescent nanomaterial (CDBHCF) based on biomass derived carbon dots (CDs) was constructed. The CDs and cobalt ferrite (CF) particles were anchored on boehmite (BH) which served as a support material for CDs. The CDBHCF nanocomposite was prepared via facile hydrothermal treatment for selective recognition of Methyl parathion (MP) pesticide and uranyl ions (UO).

Hybrid sodium-ion electrochemical capacitors bring the advantages of both the high specific power of capacitors and the high specific energy of batteries, where activated carbon serves as a critical electrode material. The charge storage in activated carbon arises from an adsorption process rather than a redox reaction and is an electrical double-layer capacitor.

The performance metrics of supercapacitors depend on surface functional groups and high-surface-area electrodes that can play a dominant role in areas that require high-power applications. Here, we report a phosphorous and oxygen co-doped honeydew peel-derived activated carbon (HDP-AC) electrode with low surface area for supercapacitor via HPO activation.

ZCO was prepared by a double hydroxide method and OPAC was prepared from orange peel followed by KOH activation. For ZCO, the calcination temperature was determined using TGA analysis.

However, Bovine picobirnavirus (BPBV) Group I and II has been an emerging causes of gastrointestinal infection as has been detected with mixed of BVDV as well as BCV. To combat economic losses and viral infection, a rapid and innovative multiplex-PCR assay (M-PCR) was developed to simultaneously identify BVDV, BCV, and BPBV.

The binary salt mixture lithium chloride-lithium hydroxide (LiCl-LiOH) with a specific composition can store thermal energy. However, to the best of our knowledge, there is no information on their thermal stability in previous literature.

Contamination factor, degree of contamination, modified degree of contamination, metal pollution index, pollution load index, enrichment factor, geoaccumulation index and ecological risk index were also determined for these PTEs in the study area.

The global endeavor of vaccination rose to protect individuals from the severity of COVID-19, but a conjunction of a short-lived menace of menstrual disturbance in the female population came out as an unsettling side effect. An understanding of the immunological panorama in the female reproductive tract (FRT) becomes important to fathom this issue.

Extrinsic nitrogen (N)-dopant in GM, activated by KOH, could render its potential use in supercapacitors effective. The effects of chemical activators such as potassium hydroxide (KOH) and zinc chloride (ZnCl) were studied to compare their activating power toward the development of pore-forming mechanisms in a carbon electrode, making them beneficial for energy storage.

The findings showed an increase in electron/hole mobility towards the interfaces due to the presence of different surface functional groups such as C-SO -C and S=C in the carbon framework for acid activation. Likewise, the galvanostatic capacitance measured at a current density of 2 mA cm in a three-electrode configuration for acid-activated wheat straw exhibited 162 F g , while that for base-activated wheat straw exhibited 106 F g .

It is a reportable disease of considerable socioeconomic concern and of major importance for the international trade of animals and animal products. Conventional diagnostic methods, such as virus propagation and isolation, immunoassays and also various molecular methods have been developed for the detection of the BTV.

The resurgence of SARS in the late December of 2019 due to a novel coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2, has shadowed the world with a pandemic. The physiopathology of this virus is very much in semblance with the previously known SARS-CoV and MERS-CoV. However, the unprecedented transmissibility of SARS-CoV-2 has been puzzling the scientific efforts.

This infection spread to thousands of people globally within a short span of time with a progressive trend to mortality of citizens. Posing a potential public health threat, SARS-CoV-2 progressed from animal-to-human to human-tohuman transmission with symptoms ranging from little or no illness to persons being severely ill and many deaths, confirming two criteria for declaring COVID-19 a pandemic.

There is a great demand for storing higher capacity (mAh/g) and energy density (Wh/kg) of the electrode material for electronic and vehicle applications. However, for stationary applications, where weight is not as critical, nickel-metal hydride (Mi-MH) technologies can be considered with tolerance to deep discharge conditions.

Current prophylactic, diagnostic and therapeutic approaches often associated with certain limitations and thus proved to be insufficient for customizing rapid and efficient combating strategy against the highly transmissible pathogenic infectious agents leading to the disastrous socio-economic outcome. Moreover, most of the viral zoonoses originate from the wildlife and poor knowledge about the global virome database renders it difficult to predict future outbreaks.
