[A contribution to anomalous number of teeth in children in the Zilina District].

The authors investigated the frequency of unfounded teeth in a selected cohort of jaw-orthopedic patients from the iZlina district at the age of seven to 12 years. From the total of 4,405 patients, a decreased number of teeth was found in 179 children (4%), 130 of them being girls and 69 boys. In all the 179 children, 410 teeth missing.
