Deformable registration between brain tumor images and brain atlas has been an important tool to facilitate pathological analysis. However, registration of images with tumors is challenging due to absent correspondences induced by the tumor. Furthermore, the tumor growth may displace the tissue, causing larger deformations than what is observed in healthy brains.

Methods: Clinical features and prognostic factors of patients with newly diagnosed or recurrent dermatomyositis patients were retrospectively analyzed. All patients were divided into the anti-MDA5-positive or negative dermatomyositis, and with or without RP-ILD groups.
Hyaluronic Acid (HA)-based pre-drugs can enable targeted drug delivery to cancer cells with CD44-high expressing, thus, it is essential to design an efficient, target specific drug delivery system based on HA. Plasma, as a simple and clean tool, has been widely used in the modification and crosslinking of biological materials in recent years. In this paper, we used the Reactive Molecular Dynamic (RMD) to explore the reaction between reactive oxygen species (ROS) in plasma and HA with drugs (PTX, SN-38, and DOX), in order to examine possible drug-coupled systems.

Pearson correlation coefficient analysis between marker compounds and a* value was conducted, and then a series of colored oxidation products were targeted and subsequently identified by diode array detection and mass fragmentation ions. The quinone of oolongtheanin 3-O'-gallate degraded product with quasi-molecular mass ion at m/z 711 was identified as a critical colored oxidation product of single EGCG.

Background: Multicentric reticulohistiocytosis (MRH)/systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) overlap syndrome is an uncommon disease in the clinic and is diagnosed through characteristic clinical manifestations, histopathology, and immunopathology. Here, we report the case of a 30-year-old woman with SLE who developed MRH.
Case Summary: A 30-year-old woman with a history of polyarthritis for the past 12 years had multiple skin nodules on her body for 10 years, including the sacrococcygeal area, dorsum of the hands, interphalangeal joint of the feet and sternoclavicular joint.
Introduction: Honey bees provides valuable pollination services for world food crops and wild flowering plants which are habitats of many animal species and remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, a powerful tool in the fight against climate change. Nevertheless, the honey bee population has been declining and the majority of colony losses occur during the winter.
Objectives: The goal of this study was to understand the mechanisms underlying overwinter colony losses and develop novel therapeutic strategies for improving bee health.
The high-dose glucocorticosteroid (GC) treatment is the first choice for dermatomyositis complicated with interstitial lung disease (DM-ILD) but patients are resistant to the high-dose GC monotherapy. Besides, the high dose of GC, the secondary immunosuppressive agent(s) is necessary but there is controversy for the selection of immunosuppressive agent(s). The objectives of the study were to analyze the efficacy of different therapeutic options for DM-ILD to identify the optimal therapy.

Herein, a comparative study was conducted on the supernatant and cream from black tea infusion in terms of antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and enzyme inhibitory activities, and chemical composition. Ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis) spectrometry and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis showed that the contents of protein, polyphenols, theaflavins, thearubigins, theabrownins, and caffeine in cream were significantly higher than those in the supernatant.

So far, the oxidation mechanism of flavan-3-ols has not been clarified. Liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry-based metabolomics combined with -quinone intermediates captured by -phenylenediamine was developed and successfully applied in the liquid incubation of fresh tea homogenates.

This investigation determined the clinical significance of sarcopenia in patients with RA combined with OP or whether sarcopenia influences RA when combined with OP.
Materials And Methods: Data pertaining to the duration of RA, C-reactive protein (CRP) level, and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) were collected from 549 RA cases and 158 healthy individuals.
The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) had become a health care event endangering humans globally. It takes up a large number of healthcare resources. We studied the impact of COVID-19 on patients with ovarian cancer by comprehensively analyzing their admissions before and after the epidemic, and made reasonable suggestions to improve their current situation.

The inhibitory effects of six coastal plants including and on PPO in banana, sweet potato and ginger were studied based on oxidation of pyrocatechol. Banana exhibited the highest PPO activity (141,600 U), followed by sweet potato (43,440 U) and ginger (26,880 U).

Introduction: Small bowel adenocarcinomas (SBAs) are rare cancers that have a distinct clinical characteristic and genetic profile. The only potentially curative treatment for localized SBAs is surgery, and treatment options are limited for patients in the advanced stage of disease.
Patient Concerns: A 39-year-old woman presented in October 2015 with a complaint of persistent vomiting for 8 months.
Objective: To evaluate the early predictive value of immature granulocytes(IGs) in postoperative infection in patients with spinal injury.
Methods: The clinical data of 78 patients with spinal cord injury underwent surgery from October 2016 to October 2018 were collected. There were 57 males and 21 females, aged from 45 to 63 years old with an average of (55.
The aim of this study was to investigate the associations between HSP90B1 gene polymorphisms and the efficacy of glucocorticoids (GCs) and the improvement of health-related quality of life (HRQoL) in Anhui patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). A total of 305 patients with SLE were recruited to the study. These patients were treated with GCs for 12 weeks and classified into two groups (sensitivity and insensitivity) according to the response to GCs measured by the scores on SLE disease activity index (SLEDAI).

Methods: A case-control study was carried out, in which 400 Chinese patients with SLE and 400 normal people were enrolled. DNA was extracted using a genomic DNA extraction kit, and tagged single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) were identified by Haploview (4.
The mapping of tissue proteomes can identify the molecular regulators and effectors of their physiological activity. However, proteomic response of a mammalian tissue against heat stress (HS) particularly of the pituitary gland has not yet been resolved. The proteomic response of the mouse pituitary gland against HS at 40C was evaluated by iTRAQ.
