Intravenously administered nanoparticles (NPs) often bind with plasma proteins, forming the protein corona that promotes rapid systemic clearance, a primary challenge in nanomedicine. In this study, we developed a pH- and GSH-sensitive "stealth" nanodelivery system, PTX@NPs-aPD1-IL, for sequential drug release. By using a biocompatible choline-based ionic liquid (IL) as the coating for NPs, the interaction and adsorption of NPs with serum proteins were reduced, achieving targeted delivery to the lung organ and increasing drug accumulation.

But the inadequate separation of the photogenerated electron-hole pair remains a major obstacle to CO photoreduction. Constructing heterostructure photocatalysts with efficient interface charge transfer is a promising approach to solving the above problems.

Enterovirus D68 (EV-D68) has had several outbreaks worldwide, yet no FDA-approved antiviral is available for treating this viral infection. EV-D68 infection typically leads to respiratory illnesses and, in severe cases, can cause neurological complications and even death, particularly in children. This study identified a small molecule, A-967079, as an EV-D68 antiviral through phenotypical screening.

Inspired by the structure of bamboo slips, we introduce a novel approach that utilises liquid metal to modulate the electrical pathways within a cracked platinum fabric electrode. The resulting sensor demonstrates a gauge factor greater than 10 and a strain measurement capability exceeding 100%.

Like other RNA viruses, SARS-CoV-2 continues to evolve with or without drug selection pressure, and many variants have emerged since the beginning of the pandemic. The papain-like protease, PL, is a cysteine protease that cleaves viral polyproteins as well as ubiquitin and ISG15 modifications from host proteins.

Obtaining three-dimensional (3D) structural information before multi-omics is more challenging but can potentially allow for better characterization of tissues and targeting of clinically relevant cells. Conventional histological techniques are limited in this regard due to their destructive nature and the reconstruction artifacts produced by sectioning, dehydration, and chemical processing.

We previously identified RTS,S vaccine-induced Plasmodium falciparum circumsporozoite protein-specific (PfCSP-specific) antibody measures associated with protection from controlled human malaria infection (CHMI). Here, we tested the protection-predicting capability of these measures in independent CHMI studies.

The speed and accuracy of navigation road extraction and driving stability affect the inspection accuracy of cage chicken coop inspection robots. In this paper, a new grayscale factor (4B-3R-2G) was proposed to achieve fast and accurate road extraction, and a navigation line fitting algorithm based on the road boundary features was proposed to improve the stability of the algorithm. The proposed grayscale factor achieved 92.

However, the mechanism underlying the resistance of colorectal cancer (CRC) to cuproptosis at the molecular level has not been elucidated.
Methods: Using bioinformatics analysis, the expression of CCAAT/enhancer-binding protein beta (CEBPB) in CRC tissues and its enrichment in biological processes were detected.
Background: Early-onset colorectal cancer with synchronous liver metastasis (EO-CRLM) is a growing concern with a grim prognosis.
Methods: EO-CRLM patients were identified from the National Cancer Database. Random survival forest model and random forest (RF) model were developed for the prediction of overall survival (OS) and 6-month mortality, respectively.
Microengineering the dielectric layers with three-dimensional microstructures has proven effective in enhancing the sensitivity of flexible pressure sensors. However, the widely employed geometrical designs of solid microstructures exhibit limited sensitivity over a wide range of pressures due to their inherent but undesired structural compressibility. Here, a Marangoni-driven deterministic formation approach is proposed for fabricating hollow microstructures, allowing for greater deformation while retarding structural stiffening during compression.

However, we have previously showed that necroptosis is widespread in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) and contributes to tumor progression and poor survival via DAMPs-induced migration and invasiveness in peri-necroptotic tumor cells. This implicated an alternative strategy that cancers cope with necroptotic stress by reprogramming a pro-invasive necroptotic microenvironment (NME).

However, the benefits of adding CDK4/6 inhibitors to ET in HER2-low-positive and HER2-0 subgroups remain unclear. We aimed to assess the effectiveness of CDK4/6 inhibitors in combination with ET in patients with HR-positive, HER2-low-positive and HER2-0 MBC.

Pd-Cu hydrogenation catalysis has high application prospects for the reduction of NO-N to N, but the existing form of Pd-Cu, the Pd-Cu mass ratio and the H evolution rate can affect the coverage of active hydrogen (*H) on the surface of Pd, thereby affecting N selectivity. In this work, mesoporous carbon (MC) is used as support to disperse Pd-Cu catalyst and is applied in an in-situ electrocatalytic H evolution system for NO-N removal.

Methods: Random forest (RF) models were developed to predict postoperative complications and major complications (binary outcomes), as well as progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) (time-to-event outcomes) of the CRLM patients based on data from two hospitals. The models were validated on an external dataset from an independent hospital.
Meat production performance is the most important economic trait in broilers, and skeletal muscle, as the largest organ in animals, is directly related to meat production during embryonic and postnatal growth and development. N6-Methyladenosine (mA) is a chemical modification occurs on RNA adenosine that has been reported to participate in a variety of biological processes in all species. However, there are still few reports on the regulatory role of muscle growth and development in poultry after birth.

Facile fabrication of highly conductive and self-encapsulated graphene electronics is in urgent demand for carbon-based integrated circuits, field effect transistors, optoelectronic devices, and flexible sensors. The current fabrication of these electronic devices is mainly based on layer-by-layer techniques (separate circuit preparation and encapsulation procedures), which show multistep fabrication procedures, complicated renovation/repair procedures, and poor electrical property due to graphene oxidation and exfoliation. Here, we propose a laser-guided interfacial writing (LaserIW) technique based on self-confined, nickel-catalyzed graphitization to directly fabricate highly conductive, embedded graphene electronics inside multilayer structures.
