A highly conductive and rationally constructed metal-organic framework (MOF)-derived metal phosphide with a carbonaceous nanostructure is a meticulous architecture toward the development of electrode materials for energy storage devices. Herein, we report a facile strategy to design and construct a new three-dimensional (3D) via a solvent diffusion method at ambient temperature, which was authenticated by a single-crystal X-ray diffraction study, revealing a novel topology of (2,4,7)-connected three-nodal net named . Nevertheless, the poor conductivity of pristine MOFs is a major bottleneck hindering their capacitance.

Such self-assembled processes typically lead to close-packed structures. Here, it has been demonstrated that under carefully template-free reaction conditions CdS quantum dots (QDs) could be synthesized and simultaneously self-assembled into complex superstructures without compromising individual QD properties.

A talon cusp is considered be an extra or an accessory cusp enlarges from cingulum and to continually enlarge to be a fully formed cusp. Around three fourth of all documented talon cusps are present in the permanent dentition.

Additionally, they are also being projected as next generation battery anodes with high theoretical lithium-ion storage capacities. While the development of indium selenide-based batteries is still in its embryonic stage, a simple and easily scalable synthetic pathway to access these materials is highly desirable for energy storage applications.

The experimental packing efficiency values matched quite well with the theoretically calculated square arrangement patterns. The above fact indicates that the formation of the 2D square arrangement of silver NCs can be explained by introducing the concept of softness to NCs in the hard sphere model.

Phase pure preparation of these exotic materials in a nano-regime is highly desirable. This account outlines a simple and easily scalable pathway to CuSe and AgSe nanocrystals using novel complexes [Cu{2-SeCH(Me-4,6)N}] (1), [Ag{2-SeCH(Me-4,6)N}] (2) and [Ag{2-SeCH(Me-5)N}]·2CHCH (3·2CHCH) as single source molecular precursors (SSPs).

The crystal structure, phase purity, morphology and band gap of the nanosheets were investigated by pXRD, EDS, electron microscopy and diffuse reflectance spectroscopy techniques, respectively. It was found that the preferential orientation of planes and the morphology of the nanosheets rely upon the reaction conditions.

The complexes were characterized by NMR (H, C, Sn) and elemental analysis and their structures were unambiguously established by the single crystal X-ray diffraction technique. Thermolysis of these complexes in oleylamine (OAm) produced SnS nanoplatelets.

Both these modalities of treatment have their indications and contraindications and merits and demerits. The present study was designed with the purpose of comparing the outcomes of surgical versus conservative management of moderately displaced subcondylar and condylar neck fractures.

Aims: The aim of this study was to assess the reliability of seven specific radiographic signs of mandibular third molar root that are observed on orthopantomography (OPG) and to predict the proximity and the absence of corticalization between the mandibular canal and IMTM root on cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) images.
Settings And Design: The present study was conducted in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Raja Rajeswari Dental College and Hospital.

An Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon at any time during the practice will encounter medicolegal cases (MLC). There are lacunae in the knowledge and understanding of the correct method of dealing with such cases. Many of the practitioners are apprehensive and anxious as they have to interact with individuals and systems outside the normal realm of practice.

Oxidative addition of {SeC5H3(3-R)N}2 (R = H or Me) to [Pd(P∩P)2] (P∩P = dppe, dppp) gave either a mononuclear complex, [Pd{2-Se-C5H3(3-R)N}2(P∩P)] (for P∩P/R: dppe/H or Me; dppp/H) or a cationic binuclear complex, [Pd2{μ-SeC5H3(3-Me)N}2(dppp)2]2+ (4b) (R = Me) whereas reactions involving the tellurium analogue exclusively afforded trinuclear complexes, [Pd3(μ-Te)2(P∩P)3]Cl2 (P∩P = dppe (2) or dppp (6)). The latter was also obtained in the substitution reaction between [PdCl2(P∩P)] and NaTeC5H3(3-R)N.
