From this study, we aimed to determine the effects of tocotrienol on MC3T3-E1 murine pre-osteoblastic cells treated with GC.

However, the global convergence analysis of CG methods remains a significant challenge. In response, this study proposes scaled versions of CG parameters based on the renowned Barzilai-Borwein approach for solving convex-constrained monotone nonlinear equations.

Development of cognitive frailty screening tool among community-dwelling older adults.

Purpose: To develop a brief screening tool consisting of twelve items that can be self-administered for rapid identification of older adults at risk of cognitive frailty (CF), named as Cognitive Frailty Screening Tool (CFST).

Patients And Methods: A total of 1318 community-dwelling individuals aged 60 years and above were selected and assessed for cognitive frailty using a set of neuropsychology batteries and physical function tests. A binary logistic regression (BLR) was used to identify predictors of CF to be used as items in the screening tool.

Effect of heat treatment on mechanical properties and dimensional accuracy of 3D-Printed black carbon fiber HTPLA.

This present study investigated how heat treatment affects the mechanical properties of 3D-printed black carbon fiber HTPLA by manipulating two parameters: heating temperature and holding time. The mechanical properties of 3D-printed black carbon fiber HTPLA components are crucial for assessing their structural integrity and performance. The shrinkage and dimensional accuracy of the 3D-printed parts were also explored using a vernier caliper.

Objective: This study aimed to determine the usability of the EMPOWER-SUSTAIN Self-Management Mobile App© and evaluate the factors associated with its usability among patients with cardiovascular risk factors in primary care.

Methodology: This was a cross-sectional study, conducted among patients aged ≥ 18 years with cardiovascular risk factors attending a university primary care clinic. Patients were given the app to use for at least three months.

This paper reports the synthesis of magnetic lipase/Cu(PO) hybrid nanoflowers via a rapid ultrasonication method. The enzyme immobilization and nanoflower growth mechanism can be described as the (a) Fe, Cu, and phosphate "binding", (b) metal phosphate crystals formation, (c) formation and growth of metal phosphate crystals to form plate-like structures, and (d) self-assembly of plate structures that forms a flower-like structure. Some factors contributing to the morphology of the hybrid nanoflowers structure includes the time and concentration of lipase were studied.

Self-system and mental health status among Malaysian youth attending higher educational institutions: A nationwide cross-sectional study.

Introduction: Mental health disorders (MHDs) are a global health burden with an increasing prevalence. During the COVID-19 pandemic, depression was the commonest MHD, followed by anxiety and stress. This nationwide study aimed to determine the prevalence and associated factors of depression, anxiety and stress among Malaysian students attending higher educational institutions.

Forecasting stock prices changes using long-short term memory neural network with symbolic genetic programming.

This study introduces an augmented Long-Short Term Memory (LSTM) neural network architecture, integrating Symbolic Genetic Programming (SGP), with the objective of forecasting cross-sectional price returns across a comprehensive dataset comprising 4500 listed stocks in the Chinese market over the period from 2014 to 2022. Using the S&P Alpha Pool Dataset for China as basic input, this architecture incorporates data augmentation and feature extraction techniques. The result of this study demonstrates significant improvements in Rank Information coefficient (Rank IC) and IC information ratio (ICIR) by 1128% and 5360% respectively when it is applied to fundamental indicators.
