Rational and effective design of a universal near-infrared (NIR) light-absorbed platform employed to prepare diverse activatable NIR fluorogenic probes for in vivo imaging and the imaging-guided tumor resection remains less exploited but highly meaningful. Our research focused on understanding the genetic mechanisms that contribute to the tolerance of (Chlorophyta), a marine macroalgae, to the combined stress of high temperature and high light intensity. At the mRNA level, the up-regulated DEGs showed enrichment in pathways related to ribosomes, proteasomes, and peroxisomes. The spliceosome pathway genes were found to be vital for 's ability to adapt to various challenging situations in all the comparison groups.

We utilize the phased rollout of COVID-19 vaccines by exact birth date in South Korea as a natural experiment for testing risk compensation. People may resume face-to-face social activities following vaccination because they perceive lower risk of infection. Applying a regression discontinuity design based on birth date cutoffs for vaccine eligibility, we find no evidence of risk-compensating behaviors, as measured by large, high-frequency data from credit card and airline companies as well as survey data.

Recently, a paste-type premixed calcium silicate-based mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) product that quickly solidifies through a pozzolanic reaction was introduced to replace existing MTA, which has the disadvantage of a long setting time.
