Background: Surgical palliative surgery is a common method for treating patients with middle and late stage gastrointestinal tumors. However, these patients generally experience high levels of cancer pain, which can in turn stimulate the body's stress and undermine the effect of external surgery. However, the mechanism of CD47 ubiquitination on tumor immune escape remains unclear. Here it is found that TRAF2 bound to the C-terminal of CD47 cytoplasmic fragment and induced its ubiquitination, leading to inhibition of CD47 autophagic degradation by disrupting its binding to LC3, which in turn inhibited macrophage phagocytosis and promoted tumor immune escape.

Background: Viral myocarditis (VMC) plays a significant role in heart failure, and there is currently a shortage of available targeted treatments. Macrophage phenotype and function are closely associated with the beta-2 adrenergic receptor (β2-AR).
Method: This research employed a BALB/c mouse model of VMC generated using Coxsackievirus B3 (CVB3), and the β2-AR agonist formoterol was administered as treatment.
Goose-derived Newcastle disease (ND) and gosling plague (GP) are serious threats to the goose industry. Conventional vaccines have made significant contributions to preventing GP and ND. However, most epidemiologic studies of prolactin and breast cancer have been restricted to single, often small, study samples with limited exploration of effect modification.
Methods: The Biomarkers in Breast Cancer Risk Prediction consortium includes 8,279 postmenopausal women sampled from four prospective cohort studies, of whom 3,441 were diagnosed with invasive breast cancer after enrollment.
This study investigated the application risk and value of Cd-enriched poplar wood, focusing on its wood properties, leaching characteristics, and brown rot resistance. The results indicated that Cd deposition in cell walls significantly inhibited brown rot fungi, thereby enhancing decay resistance. Furthermore, the extent of improvement in brown rot resistance was linked to wood density: the higher the density of Cd-enriched poplar wood, the stronger its resistance to brown rot.
