Aim This retrospective study aimed to evaluate the incidence, sociodemographic profile, feto-maternal outcomes, and associated risk factors of placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) among all the deliveries. Methods This retrospective cohort study included all women diagnosed with PAS either preoperatively or intraoperatively. Data on maternal high-risk factors such as previous surgical history, association with placenta praevia, parity and primary outcomes such as the operative procedure carried out, transfusion requirements and ICU admission, as well as neonatal variables such as Apgar score, NICU admission and birthweight, were among the primary outcomes of this study.

Veterinary drugs which are primarily meant for livestock treatment have now been categorised under potential food contaminant due to its unregulated usage and abuse. Their over usage by animal workers lead to production of contaminated animal-based food products which contain veterinary drug residues. These drugs are also misused as growth promoters to enhance the muscle to fat ratio in human body.

Background The major cause of maternal death globally is postpartum hemorrhage (PPH). When PPH develops, early detection of bleeding and rapid treatment with evidence-based guidelines can prevent most PPH-related severe morbidity and mortality. The bundle care approach for PPH management could be a potential solution to inefficient and uneven evidence-based practice implementation worldwide.

In this work, fluorescent g-CN NS with laminar morphology and ultrathin thickness were fabricated. The as synthesized NS were well characterized by UV-Visible and Fluorescence spectroscopy, FT-IR, XRD and HR-TEM. The bright blue fluorescent suspension of g-CN NS was utilized for efficient detection of food colorant; tartrazine (Tz) and sunset yellow (SY).

Fluorescent polyhydroquinoline (PHQ) derivative was fabricated utilizing one-pot engineered course. The PHQ derivative indicated aggregation induced emission enhancement (AIEE) with arrangement of nanoaggregates of size 11-13 nm in 95% watery DMF medium. The fluorescence emission of PHQ nanoaggregates was extinguished by including TNP and Cr (VI).

Green, simple and quick melamine sensing assays for highly efficient detection of melamine down to nM level have been reported. Biopolyphenols (rutin & curcumin) were used as reducing and stabilizing agents for the synthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs). The synthesis of AgNPs was confirmed by FTIR, UV-Visible, XRD and HRTEM-EDS analysis.
