Both hAβ-KI and APP-KI mice contain a humanized Aβ sequence, and APP-KI mice carry three additional familial AD mutations. We herein report that the Aβ levels and Aβ42/Aβ40 ratio in APP-KI homozygotes are dramatically higher than those in hAβ-KI homozygotes at 14 months of age.

However, the specific subset of patients with polymetastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) on novel systemic therapies who develop induced oligopersistant disease (OpersisD) or oligoprogressive disease (OprogD), as defined by the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) OMD classification, has not been well described. This study explores the outcomes of patients treated with this strategy.

View Article and Find Full Text PDFFabry Disease (FD) is a rare lysosomal storage disorder caused by mutations in the gene on the X chromosome, leading to a deficiency in α-galactosidase A (AGAL) enzyme activity. This leads to the accumulation of glycosphingolipids, primarily globotriaosylceramide (Gb3), in vital organs such as the kidneys, heart, and nervous system. While FD was initially considered predominantly affecting males, recent studies have uncovered that heterozygous Fabry women, carrying a single mutated gene, can manifest a wide array of clinical symptoms, challenging the notion of asymptomatic carriers.

Since the sensor networks continuously provide real-time data from the structure being monitored, they constitute a more realistic image of the actual status of the structure where the maintenance or repair work can be scheduled based on real requirements. This review is aimed at providing a wealth of knowledge from the working principles of sensors commonly used in SHM, to artificial-intelligence-based digital twin systems used in SHM and proposes a new asset management framework.
