The industrial sector faces a significant challenge in finding the highly effective and efficient treatments for harmful dye-based color effluents. In this study, pure and cobalt doped barium hexaferrite of chemical formula, BaCoFeO (x = 0-0.06) are made via sol-gel auto-combustion (SC) methodology.

The dry method of coffee processing generates a significant amount of coffee husk, an agricultural waste for which currently there is a lack of profitable use, and their disposal constitutes a major environmental problem. Pectin was extracted from coffee husk using citric acid solution (pH 1.5) by microwave-assisted extraction method, followed by using ice-cold ethanol.

The inability of the Navier-Stokes-Fourier equations to capture rarefaction effects motivates us to adopt the extended hydrodynamic equations. In the present work, a hydrodynamic model, which consists of the conservation laws closed with the recently propounded coupled constitutive relations (CCR), is utilized. This model is referred to as the CCR model and is adequate for describing moderately rarefied gas flows.

Herein, a simpler-viable methodology for the surface decoration of pear fruit derived graphene aerogel (GA) via cadmium sulfide (CdS) has been presented. GA can be easily synthesized from bio-mass, which provide an economic advantage. Surface decoration via CdS imparts photocatalytic activities in functionalized graphene aerogels (f-GA).

Microbes play a vital role in ecosystem stability. Here, microbes-Acacia association is discussed with particular reference to Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) which help in the establishment of crop-plants, especially in arid and semi-arid areas. The association helps to restore the structural composition of soil from the hazardous impact of agrochemicals, increase resistance against various pathogenic attack as well as several abiotic stresses.
