High energy density solid state symmetric supercapacitors using ionic liquid dispersed Li ion-perovskites.

The study reports solid-state ceramic supercapacitors (SSCs) assembled using a novel composite electrolyte based on Li ion conducting perovskite-type LLTO (LiLaTiO) and an ionic liquid (EMIM BF). Small amounts of various ionic liquids (ILs) were added to LLTO to enhance the ionic conductivity and improve electrode compatibility. The optimal composition with approximately ∼6 wt% EMIM BF in LLTO exhibited a high ionic conductivity of around ∼10 Ω cm at room temperature, nearly three orders of magnitude higher than that of the pristine LLTO.

Development and Validation of Reverse-Phase High-Performance Liquid Chromatography Based Bioanalytical Method for Estimation of Simvastatin in Rat's Plasma.

Simvastatin (SIM) is known to lower cholesterol levels and is speculated in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease. In this study, the bioanalytical method of SIM SNEDDS was developed and validated for the estimation of SIM in the rat's plasma using reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography. C-18 reverse-phase octadecylsilyl column was used to validate the method.

A survey on the knowledge, attitude and the practice of pharmacovigilance among the health care professionals in a teaching hospital in northern India.

Objective: To assess the pharmacovigilance awareness among the healthcare professionals in a teaching hospital in Northern India.

Material And Methods: A questionnaire which was suitable for assessing the basic Knowledge, Attitude and the Practice (KAP) of pharmacovigilance was designed and distributed among 100 doctors of the Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Hospital, Jalandhar, Punjab, India.

Results: Among the 100 doctors, 61 responded.
