The solar sector is shifting towards lead-free, inorganic cubic halide perovskites due to their superior structural, electronic, and optoelectronic properties. This study uses density functional theory (DFT) to examine the structural, electronic, and optical properties of XSnBr (X = Cs, Rb, K, Na) and assesses their photovoltaic performance through the Solar Cell Capacitance Simulator - One Dimensional (SCAPS-1D). The results show each material has a direct band gap at the Γ-point, low optical losses, and high absorption, making them promising for solar and optoelectronic applications.

Results suggest that the three-dimensional configuration of crumpled graphene boosts electrolyte-electrode interaction. This improved interaction, which includes a larger ion-accessible zone, increases the specific capacitance of the supercapacitor by roughly 400% (16.

Wetlands are a widely invaded ecosystem, since dispersal of aquatic species is facilitated by seasonal flooding. This study evaluated the effects of the translocated pondweed Monochoria hastata on fish and rice production in two wetlands of Bangladesh over six years (2017-2022).

Traditional medicine is typically based on the use of single herbal drugs or polyherbal formulations (PHFs) to manage diseases. However, the probable mode of action of these formulations is not well studied or documented.

Introduction: Potentially malignant oral epithelial lesions are a group of oral conditions with an altered morphological state of the normal mucosal lining and include different lesions such as leukoplakia, erythroplakia, submucosal fibrosis, and lichen planus.
Aim: To compare the outcome of premalignant oral lesions after medical therapy consisting of submucosal intralesional injection of triamcinolone with hyaluronidase and surgical excision.
Materials And Methods: This was a comparative prospective interventional study and the study was conducted among 50 patients presented to the Department of Otorhinolaryngology with premalignant oral lesions from the year 2020 to 2022.

Angiolymphoid hyperplasia with eosinophilia (ALHE) is a rare, benign, reactive vaso-proliferative condition in the dermal and subcutaneous tissues of the head and neck. A 28-year-old female presented with slow-growing painless swelling behind her left ear. FNAC revealed benign soft tissue neoplasm and histopathological examination after surgical excision revealed angiolymphoid hyperplasia with eosinophilia.

Methods: This cross-sectional study conducted in Bangladesh from August 2022 to April 2023 included 801 medical students conveniently selected from medical colleges in eight divisions. Data were collected using a web-based survey and analysed using STATA version 16.
A well-accessible healthcare system is an important measure of the progress of a country, as access to adequate healthcare is one of everyone's very basic human rights. When a community lives below the poverty line, unfortunately, it gets deprived of the basic human rights like healthcare, which is a reality to many resource-constrained communities around the world. The number of such resource-constrained communities in developing countries is large.

Herein, dual-functionalized micron-sized surface-active composite polymer particles were prepared by a three-step process for CO adsorption. First, polystyrene (PS) seed particles were prepared via the dispersion polymerization of styrene.

We study the X-ray absorption pre-edge and near-edge spectra at the K-edge of a nearly complete series of hydrated first-row transition metal ions with d orbital occupancy from d to d. We optimize all of the structures at the density functional theory (DFT) level with explicit solvation and then compute the pre-edge X-ray absorption spectra with time-dependent DFT (TDDFT) and restricted active space second-order perturbation theory (RASPT2).
