With increased exposure of patients to routine imaging, incidental benign intrathoracic masses are frequently recognized. Most have classical imaging features, which are pathognomonic for their benignity. We report the case of dicephalic conjoined twins discovered incidentally on a routine ultrasound at 24 weeks of gestation. There were 2 heads and a neck that fused with 1 thorax, but the spines continued all the way to the coccyx. The spines were connected medially by a fused rib, and laterally, there were ribs that went around the thorax in a more normal fashion.

Methods: A total of 122 cigarette smokers (115 men and 7 women) and 14 hookah smokers (all men) with age ranging from 16-80 years were studied. CEA levels were also measured in 36 non-smokers who served as controls.
Purpose: To assess the gastric emptying pattern of a standardized solid meal in patients with non-ulcer dyspepsia by using scintigraphic techniques.
Methods: Results for the half-emptying time for solids (T1/2) and percent clearance of solid meal at 60 min (C60) of patients (n=35) having non-ulcer dyspepsia according to Rome II criteria were compared with age- and sex-matched controls (n=28). Gastric emptying was studied by using egg omelette labelled with Tc tin colloid.
Objectives: To review sonographic findings that can mimic renal calculi.
Methods: We comment on a number of echoes that can mimic renal calculi.
Results: There are a number of sonographic renal artifacts, vascular and nonvascular, that may confound a correct diagnosis.
We report the sonographic diagnosis of Neu-Laxova syndrome in a fetus at 27 weeks' menstrual age. The parents were first cousins. Sonography revealed microcephaly, a sloping forehead, exophthalmos, a small thorax and abdomen, hypoplastic lungs, syndactyly, hyperextended knees, polyhydramnios, a small placenta, and intrauterine growth restriction.

The ultrasonographic (US) appearance of hydatid liver disease is well established, but solid cysts have long defied US characterization. We present 23 solid cysts and describe a new feature called the "Congealed waterlilly" sign. As the physical characteristics of the hydatid fluid change from watery to a viscid gel, it becomes echogenic.
