Objectives: This study reported the development of the Job-Related Uncertainty Stress Scale for Platform Workers (JUSSPW) and examined its reliability and validity.
Methods: The research was conducted in two phases. In Study 1, item analysis and exploratory factor analysis were conducted on data from 343 platform riders (male:321; female:22; mean age:27.
Background: Since 1992, when recombinant hepatitis B vaccine was introduced in China, government health officials have used nationally representative serological surveys to monitor progress in prevention and control of hepatitis B. In 2020, we conducted the fourth seroepidemiological survey, which for the first time included medical evaluation of the clinical status of HBsAg positive subjects over the age of 15 and their medical management. We report survey results in comparison with the three previous surveys.

Previous research has examined the microbiota of diarrhetic yaks; however, the structural changes in gut bacterial community and microbial interactions in yaks with grassland alteration-induced diarrhea remain poorly understood. To explore variations in gut microbiota homeostasis among yaks suffering from diarrhea, fecal microbiota diversity and composition were analyzed using 16 S rRNA amplicon sequencing.

Methods: This is a panel study that uses data from the China Family Panel Studies from 2018 to 2020, which is separated into treated and control groups each year, utilizing the key approach of propensity score matching and difference-in-difference (PSM-DID). Using 1-to-1 k-nearest neighbor matching, we proportionate the baseline data.
The aim of this study was to assess the prevalence of pet ownership and the relationship between pet ownership and people's socioeconomic positions examined at the individual, household, and regional levels among a large representative sample of residents in China. A cross-sectional study was conducted among six cities in China, incorporating a total of 5782 male residents along with their families in the analysis. The multilevel logistic regression models were employed to determine associations between socioeconomic deprivation and pet ownership prevalence.

Therefore, we performed the conventional meta-analysis and network meta-analysis to evaluate the long-term oncologic outcomes of ORC, LRC, and RARC for BCa.
Methods: A systematic search of PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Medline, and Web of science was performed up until July 1, 2021.
Background: Sepsis is life-threatening organ dysfunction caused by a dysregulated host response to infection. Although fish oil has been used as an immunonutritional preparations for the treatment of sepsis patients, there is still controversy as to whether it is beneficial to them. We systematically reviewed published clinical trial data to evaluate the effectiveness of fish oil-containing nutrition supplementation in sepsis patients.

Objective: This study aims to evaluate the clinical effect of mini-incision double eyelidplasty in single eye for correcting congenital upper eyelid crease asymmetry.
Methods: Mini-incision double eyelidplasty was performed on 24 patients in single eye to treat congenital upper eyelid crease asymmetry between May 2016 and September 2018. The postoperative surgical results were classified as "excellent," "fair," and "poor.
Objectives: This study aimed to explore the effects of glutamine on hypermetabolic reactions in burned rats and its underlying mechanism.
Methods: Fifty-five Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into three groups, namely, the control (C), burned (B), and burned + glutamine (B + G) groups. Rats in the glutamine treatment group were supplemented with 1 g glutamine per kg body weight.
Background: Domestic violence is common in the community. Many of its victims present to primary care physicians (PCPs) but are not being recognized and managed. The barriers, with specific reference to a Chinese cultural context, were investigated earlier.

A total of 1962 subjects with normal thyroid function were enrolled. The subjects were divided into four groups according to the quartiles of serum normal TSH levels, [Q (0.

A new therapy strategy combined chemo drugs and molecular-targeted drugs is considered to be promising for conquering these challenges. However, the different pharmacokinetic profiles, hydrophobicity and systemic toxicity of these drugs may still cause serious challenges to the clinical applications of this combination therapy.

Methods And Results: We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 594 patients who underwent total hysterectomy after LEEP for CIN at the International Peace Maternity and Child Health Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University between July 2006 and June 2015. Among the 594 patients, there were no residual lesions in uterine specimens of 409 (68.
Objective: An accurate knowledge of energy consumption in burn patients is a prerequisite for rational nutrition therapy. This study sought to create a formula that accounts for the metabolic characteristics of adult burn patients to accurately estimate energy consumption of patients with different areas and extents of burn and at different times after injury.
Methods: Resting energy expenditure (REE) data on 66 burn patients, with total body surface area (TBSA) of burns ranging from 4% to 96%, were evaluated at different times after injury.
Objective: To determine whether intestinal epithelial cells have a receptor for intestinal trefoil factor and characterize receptor-ligand binding kinetics.
Methods: Radioligand binding assays were performed to characterize the binding kinetics between [(125)I]-labeled ITF and IEC-6, HT-29, Caco2 and HaCaT cells. The K d, Bmax and other kinetic variables describing the interaction between ITF and its potential receptors were determined.
To further evaluate the clinical impact of recombinant PoIFN-alpha/gamma, PoIFN-alpha/gamma genes from a Chinese domestic big-white porcine breed were cloned using PCR, and expressed in a high-level prokaryotic system. The antiviral activities of rPoIFN-alpha/gamma on vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV), porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV), and classical swine fever virus (CSFV) were investigated in different cell lines. The cloned PoIFN-alpha gene encodes a protein of 166 amino acids and has been named PoIFN-alphac.

Adjusted active carbon fiber (AACF) was evaluated for Solid Phase Microextraction (SPME), which showed higher sensitivity and stability than traditional coating fibers. The characteristics of AACF result from two different activation methods (chemical and water vapor) and from variable activation conditions (temperature and time). The fiber treated by water vapor appears to have stronger affinity to polar compounds, while that treated by chemical activation appears to have stronger affinity to non-polar compounds.
