To compare the clinical profile of long-term survivors and nonsurvivors with type 1 diabetes (T1D) in India. This is a retrospective study of 76 individuals with T1D who had survived for at least 40 years ("survivors") and 51 individuals with T1D who had died with shorter duration of diabetes ("non-survivors"), from diabetes clinics in different cities of India. Prevalence of complications in both groups and causes of death of the nonsurvivors were analyzed.

Rietveld refinement of x-ray diffraction pattern confirms the phase purity of all the samples with rhombohedral crystal structure.

Objectives: The objective is to study the quality of life of principal caregivers of autistic children and adolescents visiting health facilities in Lucknow city.
Materials And Methods: The sample included 90 principal caregivers (aged < 60 years) of autistic children and adolescents aged 3-19 years and diagnosed with autism, attending government and private health facilities providing treatment for autism in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Background: The present paper has examined the sources of stress among the healthcare professionals and the difference between responses of personality type A and type B healthcare professionals toward stressful situations. Further, the difference in the performance of both the personality types has been studied. The relationship between stress and performance among the healthcare professionals in general and with respect to personality type A and type B healthcare professionals in particular has also been investigated.
