Using the e^{+}e^{-} collision data collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII collider, at center-of-mass energies from the threshold to 4.95 GeV, we present precise measurements of the cross section for the process e^{+}e^{-}→D_{s}^{+}D_{s}^{-} using a single-tag method. The resulting cross section line shape exhibits several new structures, thereby offering an input for a future coupled-channel analysis and model tests, which are critical to understand vector charmonium-like states with masses between 4 and 5 GeV.

Previous studies have demonstrated that accumulation of fat in visceral adipose tissue compartments and the liver is associated with alterations in the circulating levels of some amino acids, notably glutamate. This study aimed to investigate the associations between circulating amino acids, particularly glutamate, and MASLD.

Older patients are at risk of falling, making fall prevention a critical component of training for future health professionals. To understand the expectations of health students regarding falls in the elderly, four consecutive focus groups were organized at the Angers hospital. The aim was to assess students' views on the effectiveness of using an educational or serious game to complement their traditional training.

Both eye disorders have multifactorial etiologies. While previous work has elucidated many aspects of CDs, such as presenting symptoms, epidemiology, and pathophysiology, the genetic mechanisms remain incompletely understood.

Perfusion can be assessed with indocyanine green fluorescence angiography (ICG) during colon resections. Possible benefits from its systematic use in high-risk patients with rectal cancer remain inconsistent.

Methods: Patients with advanced KRASG12C-mutant NSCLC treated with adagrasib (KRYSTAL-1-NCT03785249) were included in the analysis. Pre-treatment NGS data were collected per protocol.
Lymphomas of T-follicular helper origin (T-follicular helper-cell lymphoma [TFHL]) are often accompanied by an expansion of B-immunoblasts, occasionally with Hodgkin/Reed-Sternberg-like (HRS-like) cells, making the differential diagnosis with classic Hodgkin lymphoma (CHL) difficult. We compared the morphologic, immunophenotypic, and molecular features of 15 TFHL and 12 CHL samples and discussed 4 challenging cases of uncertain diagnosis. Compared with CHL, TFHL disclosed more frequent sparing of subcortical sinuses, high-endothelium venule proliferation, dendritic cell meshwork expansion, T-cell atypia, and aberrant T-cell immunophenotype.

Here, we report variants in the E3 ligase UBR5 in 29 individuals presenting with a neurodevelopmental syndrome that includes developmental delay, autism, intellectual disability, epilepsy, movement disorders, and/or genital anomalies. Their phenotype is distinct from JBS due to the absence of exocrine pancreatic insufficiency and the presence of autism, epilepsy, and, in some probands, a movement disorder.

The (SDMS) meets this requirement but is, as a result, somewhat lengthy (36 items). This article introduces a short form of the SDMS containing only half the number of items but generally retaining the psychometric qualities of the original measure.

We report herein mild conditions for the regio- and stereoselective [only the () isomer obtained] 1,4-carboalkoxylation of 1,3-dienes. This electrochemical multicomponent reaction provides an eco-efficient and straightforward access to a diverse range of ()-polyfunctionalized allyl ether products, without requiring any metal catalyst.

Thanks to the versatile vinylogous hexafluoro -propyl acrylate molecular platforms, a regio- and enantioselective sulfa-Michael reaction was achieved upon organocatalytic conditions, allowing the subsequent amidation, one-pot oxidation, and Mislow-Bravermann-Evans [2,3]-sigmatropic rearrangement along with a 1,3-chirality transfer, leading eventually to a formal asymmetric 1,6-hydroxylation sequence.

We sought to further demonstrate its generalizability by performing validation with a large dataset from a second high-volume institution, Mayo Clinic.
Methods And Materials: Eight hundred seventy-nine patients-424 from Mayo Clinic and 455 from MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC)-who received SSRS between 2007 and 2019 were identified.

We present the results of a search for the b→dℓ^{+}ℓ^{-} flavor-changing neutral-current rare decays B^{+,0}→(η,ω,π^{+,0},ρ^{+,0})e^{+}e^{-} and B^{+,0}→(η,ω,π^{0},ρ^{+})μ^{+}μ^{-} using a 711 fb^{-1} data sample that contains 772×10^{6} BB[over ¯] events. The data were collected at the ϒ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e^{+}e^{-} collider. We find no evidence for signal and set upper limits on branching fractions at the 90% confidence level in the range (3.

MYC-R detection relies on fluorescence in situ hybridization method which is time consuming, expensive, and not available in all laboratories. Automating MYC-R detection on hematoxylin-and-eosin-stained whole slide images of LBCL would decrease the need for costly molecular testing and improve pathologists' productivity.

Objectives: The aim of the current study was to validate the DRS-8, an alternative version of the Disorganized Response Scale (DRS), by assessing its construct validity, internal consistency, and criterion validity with the U/d attachment scales on the Adult Attachment Interview (AAI).
The synthesis of bis-lactone and butenolide derivatives was described using alkylidene Meldrum's acid as nucleophiles. The process operates in a triple cascade through an auto tandem catalysis promoted by DBU.

Various causative genes of PA diseases have been identified in recent years, providing insights into some dysfunctional cellular processes. However, the identification of PA genes also revealed significant genetic heterogeneity and highlighted the gaps in this understanding of PA-associated molecular mechanisms.
