Duck Tembusu virus (DTMUV), a novel positive-sense RNA virus, has caused significant economic losses in the poultry industry of Eastern and Southeast Asia since its outbreak in 2010. Furthermore, the rapid transmission and potential zoonotic nature of DTMUV pose a threat to public health safety. In this study, a 4D-DIA quantitative proteomics approach was employed to identify differentially expressed cellular proteins in DTMUV-infected DF-1 cells, which are routinely used for virus isolation and identification for DTMUV, as well as the development of vaccines against other poultry viruses.

In this study, we introduce a light-powered self-translation system for an asymmetric friction slider using a liquid crystal elastomer (LCE) string oscillator. The self-translation system was composed of a hollow slide, two LCE fibers, and a mass ball.

The present study aimed to explore an ideal delivery system for triptolide (TPL) by utilizing the thin-film hydration method to prepare drug-loaded, folate-modified mixed pluronic micelles (FA-F-127/F-68-TPL). Scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy showed that the drug-loaded micelles had a spherical shape with a small particle size, with an average of 30.7 nm.

Since the neuroprotective effects of n-3 PUFA have been widely validated, the role of n-6 PUFA remains debated, with their underlying mechanisms still not fully understood.
Methods: In this study, 169,295 participants from the UK Biobank were included to analyze the associations between dietary n-6 PUFA intake and neurodegenerative diseases using Cox regression models with full adjustments for potential confounders.
Root-knot nematodes (RKNs) are pathogens that endanger a wide range of crops and cause serious global agricultural losses. In this study, we investigated metabolites of the endoparasitic fungus YMF1.01751, with the expectation of discovering valuable biocontrol compounds.

Real-time quantitative PCR techniques are widely used for PVL quantification. We previously developed a dual-target detection method, the "Liquid Dual-CoCoMo assay", that uses the coordination of common motif (CoCoMo) degenerate primers.

An electronic search of the PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane databases was conducted, from the date of establishment to September 30, 2024. Data were synthesized with frequentist random-effects network meta-analyses, a single-group rate meta-analysis algorithm, and a bivariate mixed-effects logistic regression model.

Single-cell sequencing technology provides apparent advantages in cell population heterogeneity, allowing individuals to better comprehend tissues and organs. Sequencing technology is currently moving beyond the standard transcriptome to the single-cell level, which is likely to bring new insights into the function of breast cells. In this study, we examine the primary cell types involved in breast development, as well as achievements in the study of scRNA-seq in the microenvironment, stressing the finding of novel cell subsets using single-cell approaches and analyzing the problems and solutions to scRNA-seq.

Indocyanine green (ICG) is the first FDA-approved near-infrared (NIR) fluorophore and has significantly advanced clinical interventions over the past three decades. However, its single-channel imaging at 800 nm emission is often insufficient for capturing comprehensive diagnostic information during surgery.

Methods: 100 premature infants were randomized into two groups: the experimental group (given music for 30 min at a time, once every day until discharge) and the control group (without music). To compare the vital signs (RR, HR, SPO) before, during, and after the music intervention, as well as the weight gain and feeding, follow up to 3 months after discharge.
The employment situation for college students has worsened due to the increase in the number of graduates and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the economy. Consequently, the pressure to find employment has also increased, particularly for rural college students. Drawing on the Psychology of Working Theory (PWT), the present study was performed to examine the applicability of some proposed pathways in the PWT and test the relationships between family atmosphere and school climate and work volition, career adaptability, and future decent work perception within 946 rural college students (243 men and 703 women; Mage = 19.

DNA methylation, which is a type of epigenetic modification, is essential in the progression of tumors. This review introduces the common DNA methylation analysis methods and discusses their advantages and disadvantages, focusing on the new progress of DNA methylation-based liquid biopsy in tumor diagnosis and treatment.

However, the limited HO and weakly acidic pH in tumor microenvironment (TME) would severely restrict the therapeutic efficiency of CDT. Here, a weakly acid activated, HO self-supplied, hyaluronic acid (HA)-functionalized Ce/Cu bimetallic nanoreactor (CBPNs@HA) is elaborately designed for complementary chemodynamic-immunotherapy.

Recent single-molecule binding studies show that cAMP bound to each subunit of purified tetrameric HCN channels independently, in contrast to findings in cells. To explore the lipid membrane's role in cAMP regulation, we reconstituted purified human HCN channels in various lipid nanodiscs and resolved single molecule ligand-binding dynamics.
