Background: Vitiligo is an autoimmune disease of the skin with limited treatment options; there is an urgent need to identify and validate biomarkers of disease activity to support vitiligo clinical studies.
Objective: To investigate potential biomarkers of disease activity directly in the skin of vitiligo subjects and healthy subjects.
Methods: Patient skin was sampled via a modified suction-blister technique, allowing for minimally invasive, objective assessment of cytokines and T-cell infiltrates in the interstitial skin fluid.
Benzodiazepines belongs to one of the most commonly used anxiolytic and anticonvulsant drugs in the world. Full description of toxic effects on different organs is lacking for nearly all the current benzodiazepines. The aim of the current work was to study the immunologic and vascular changes induced by sub-chronic administration of alprazolam and clonazepam in non-stressed and stressed adult male albino rats.

This cluster survey for vaccination coverage in Sohag Governorate was carried out for the six vaccine preventable diseases in children below 2 years and tetanus toxoid for pregnant mothers. It reveals that vaccination coverage in Sohag is still far below the universal child immunization goal of 80% coverage by the year 1990. Fully vaccinated children were 17.
