How to Engage Men in Preconception Health?: A Scoping Review.

Background: Men's engagement in maternal and child health care in the preconception health forum is essential because it allows primary prevention of maternal and infant mortality and morbidity. This review aimed to identify strategies to engage men in preconception health.

Materials And Methods: This scoping review was conducted from August to September 2022.

Flight Hours and Depression in Flight Attendants During the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Introduction: Flight attendants are constantly exposed to high-stress environments that could lead to the development of depression. The COVID-19 pandemic brought out new risk factors that could affect flight attendants' mental health, such as reduced flight hours and fear of the disease itself, which other studies have shown was associated with depression. We aimed to find out whether reduced flight hours, fear of COVID-19, and other factors were associated with depression in flight attendants during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Development of amphotericin B inclusion complex formulation in dissolvable microarray patches for intravaginal delivery.

Background: Amphotericin B (AMB) is a drug used to treat vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC), which is a fungal infection affecting the vagina and vulva. Nevertheless, the substance's limited capacity to dissolve in water leads to poor absorption when taken orally, hence diminishing its therapeutic efficacy. In order to address this limitation, β-cyclodextrin (βCD) was used to create AMB in the form of an inclusion complex.

Diagnostic challenges of hiatal hernia Type IV: An imaging perspective.

Type IV hiatal hernia is a mixed type of hiatal hernia characterized by the herniation of visceral organs other than the stomach into the mediastinum. It is the least common type of hiatal hernia. We report a case of a 4-month-old male infant who presented with shortness of breath and persistent vomiting.

ABCDE assessment for palliative care truth-telling dilemmas: a case study.

Background: In Indonesia, the diagnosis of a serious illness is often mediated through the patient's family, reflecting the cultural importance of family involvement in the patient's care and collective decision-making.

Aim: To use a case study to show the difficulty that healthcare professionals face telling the patient the truth about their condition in Indonesia.

Method: The Kagawa-Singer and Blackhall ABCDE framework was used during truth-telling dilemmas to assess patients' and families' attitudes (A), beliefs (B), contexts (C), decision-making styles (D) and environments (E).

Malnutrition Prevalence and Nutrient Intakes of Indonesian Older Adults in Institutionalized Care Setting: A Systematic Review of Observational Studies.

Introduction: Data on the prevalence of malnutrition and nutrient intakes among Indonesian older adults in institutionalized care setting are scattered and scarce. Thus, we conducted a systematic review of published and gray literature to estimate (1) the prevalence of malnutrition, (2) the level and distribution of habitual energy and nutrient intakes, and (3) the prevalence of inadequacy of energy and nutrient intakes among hospitalized and institutionalized older adults in Indonesia.

Methods: This systematic review was written following the PRISMA 2020 checklist.

Thus, this study aims to evaluate the presence of CSC markers (CD44 and CD133) in histopathology tissue at the time of diagnosis and their correlation with the occurrence of CRPC in patients with advanced PCa within 2 years of ADT.

Pheochromocytoma is an uncommon and difficult-to-diagnose cause of FM, and it is associated with a significant risk of recurrent acute myocarditis. Naturally acquired immunity to the different types of malaria in humans occurs in areas of endemic transmission and results in asymptomatic infection of peripheral blood. The current study examined the possibility of naturally acquired immunity in Bornean orangutans, , exposed to endemic malaria. A total of 2140 peripheral blood samples were collected between January 2017 and December 2022 from a cohort of 135 orangutans housed at a natural forested Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre in West Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Development and validation of a structured questionnaire for assessing risk factors of medication non-adherence among pulmonary tuberculosis patients in Indonesia.

Medication non-adherence is a significant concern in tuberculosis (TB) treatment, requiring a precise understanding of the associated risk factors. However, there is a lack of appropriate means to assess the risk factors among TB patients in Indonesia, leading to the development and validation of a structured questionnaire for this purpose. This study unfolded in two distinct phases, namely, the first included questionnaire construction through framework development, item generation, item screening, and pretesting (in 50 patients).

The impact of government pandemic policies on the vulnerability of healthcare workers to SARS-CoV-2 infection and mortality in Jakarta Province, Indonesia.

Introduction: Healthcare workers (HCWs) are on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic, putting them at a higher risk of infection and disease than non-HCWs. We analysed the effects of government policies for the public and for HCWs on the likelihood of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection and mortality among HCWs during the first 8 months of the pandemic in Jakarta province, the capital city and COVID-19 hotspot in Indonesia.

Methods: We conducted a retrospective cohort study using secondary data from the Jakarta provincial government from March to October 2020, which included sociodemographic characteristics, symptoms, comorbidities and COVID-19 diagnosis history for all cases.
