Objective: The aim: Assessment of the effectiveness of using minimally invasive and open methods of bile duct decompression for treatment of obstructive jaundice (OJ) by comparing complications in patients of di!erent age groups.
Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: We analyzed the results of surgical treatment of 250 patients with OJ. The patients were assigned to two groups: Group I (n = 100) consisting of young and middle-age patients, and Group II (n = 150) consisting of elderly, senile and long-living patients.
Objective: Introduction: Nowadays, the study of biological safety of modern cationic surface-active antiseptics with a wide antimicrobial spectrum has acquired particular importance. The aim was to study antimicrobial effectiveness of antiseptics decamethoxin, miramistin and their influence on nuclear DNA fragmentation and cellular cycle.
Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: A comparative microbiological study of antimicrobial efficacy and a cytometric study of the effect of decamethoxin 0,02% and miramistin 0,01% on the cellular cycle were carried out.
The purpose of this work was to study the effect of concomitant administration of sodium hydrosulfide and diclofenac sodium on the parameters cell cycle of the gastric mucosa cells by DNA flow cytometry. The experiments were performed on 24 white rats of Wistar straints. The parameters of the cell cycle of cells of the gastric mucosa of rats were determined by the method of flow-through DNA-cytometry.
